Antlantis
You guide the colony; the ants do the work. Press Play on a level to start.
How to play
- Lay trail, then tap a green leaf pile. Workers start hauling leaves.
- Dig a chewing chamber and a fungus garden underground. Farmers turn leaves into mulch, then mulch plus dew into fungus.
- Lay trails to dew (blue) and insects (brown), dig a butchery and a nursery to raise new ants. The nursery needs eggs from your queen (the big gold ant), so dig it near her chamber.
- Worker ants haul goods through your tunnels, so keep busy chambers close to a storeroom. Some pairs work faster side by side: butchery + nursery, chewing chamber + fungus garden, queen + nursery.
- Food slowly spoils; deep storerooms keep it longer. In fall, gather seeds (yellow) and bake seed bread in a granary: it never spoils and feeds the colony in winter.
- Ants who stick with a job become veterans and work faster. Crowded trails slow down, so spread foragers over several sources.
- Fungus gardens make refuse. Haul it to a midden dug far from gardens, or mold will blight them. The midden makes rich soil that boosts gardens.
- Flowers and aphids give sugar: it speeds up workers and diggers, and a nectar kitchen turns sugar + protein into royal nectar that doubles the queen's egg-laying.
- Digging piles soil by the entrance. A clay works makes bricks, and bricks turn trails into fast, bird-proof tunnel highways.
- Watch out for birds: tap a diving bird to send its trail's foragers running for cover.
